Bruno Boëz has been working in the audiovisual sector for over 15 years. A film enthusiast with a Master’s degree in audiovisual directing from the University of Paris 8, he began his career at the French National Center for Cinema in Paris, focusing on arts education programs and film preservation initiatives. He contributed to the creation of La Cinémathèque du documentaire, which supports the promotion of documentary films in France. Since moving to Canada in 2020, he has worked in independent production and programming. He authored a study aimed at improving the visibility of Canadian heritage cinema, which was presented in 2022 to representatives of Canada’s screen industry. He writes for Le Petit Septième, a Montreal-based media outlet specializing in cinema, and has been the Executive Director of the Regroupement des artistes cinéastes de la francophonie canadienne since 2023.
