Synopsis

An old man, in love with nature, makes magnificent flower arrangements. But tractors are gradually invading the flower fields.

A word from Tënk

Sapovnela
Between beauty and mystery
The flower no one has ever been able to find

There was a time when
A narrative was imposed upon this chorus
To conceal its political significance
The ecological and editorial ending swiftly censored

Today, rediscovered and fully restored,
We are invited to watch it, but without subtitles
In a lyrical language of colors and music,
According to the artist's wishes

Surprise!
Just when everything seemed lost,
The song of grasses and bulbs survives despite the turmoil.
Suddenly, a feeling of déjà vu
In the penultimate shot,
One can almost see a soccer goal in the distance
Purple petals surround the thorny stalks of a recent poster
Silybum marianum, known as ბაყაყურა (Baq'aq'ura)
Could this be the unattainable flower?
Perhaps this is where Koberidze dreamed it
