Synopsis
Alphée has a rare genetic disorder that hampers her development. Yet she continues to defy medical expectations. In a moving declaration of love for his daughter, filmmaker Hugo Latulippe and his family steal away for a year, focusing on his daughter’s learning, so that she can integrate into a regular classroom when they get home.

To Neverland, where she'll never grow up again!
She's the lion king, on the savannah with tigers and leopards,
Converse with the birds and the forest,
And on her ten fingers, under her father's watchful eye,
She learns, valiantly, to count to twelve!
All set against a breathtaking Alpine panorama,
Adorned over the months, with grassy meadows or snow; always luminous,
Alphée laughs, holds her ground on the slope, chirps, and expresses her contagious joy,
The joy of being in the world, a world as round as a soap bubble,
Carrying her hopes to the stars!
